This brochure design accompanied a presentation I gave based on the history of Graphic Design, and I chose to showcase The New York School. Some of the most influential artists from this era are listed alongside some of their most recognizable work. The overall design pays homage to artist Paul Rand and his ‘No Way Out’ poster.
This was one of my first graphic design projects ever, completed in my freshman year of college. MADD Photo is a fictional photography company I created that was inspired by a photo shoot I did with my friend Madison, featured on the front cover. I wanted to give this company a youthful vibe, and I reflected this in my use of rounded shapes and a complimentary, soft-toned color palette.
